Our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course provides learners with the essential life-saving skills to respond effectively to workplace medical emergencies.
Delivered by qualified first aid instructors, this one-day course meets Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and is ideal for those working in low-risk environments or needing to act as designated first aiders.
Course Content Includes:
• Understanding the role of a first aider
• Assessing an incident and scene safety
• CPR and use of an AED (defibrillator)
• Managing an unconscious casualty
• Treating bleeding, burns, and shock
• Dealing with minor injuries and medical conditions
Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, valid for three years.
